The Brief

• To internally reconfigure and refurbish a listed building to provide contemporary, modern student accommodation within a historic building.

Work Included

• Replacement of the existing copper roof.
• Extensive internal and external structural demolitions and alterations.
• Internal reconfiguration of the internal areas.
• Replacement of the existing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Demolition of an existing 1960’s extension and formation of a new contemporary split-level building.
• Utilisation of conservation trades including stone masons, moulded plasterers, lead workers, lime plasterers and French polishers.
